Temperature sensingThermochromic pigmentUsage conditions:

The reversible thermochromic pigment itself is an unstable system (if stable, it is difficult to change), so its light resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and other properties are far inferior to ordinary pigments, and attention should be paid in use.Pearlescent pigment, Thermochromic pigment,Fluorescent pigment

1. Light resistance:

The light resistance of thermochromic pigment is poor, and it will fade and fail quickly under strong sunlight exposure, so it is only suitable for indoor use. Strong sunlight and ultraviolet light irradiation should be avoided, which is conducive to prolonging the service life of the thermochromic pigment.

2. Heat resistance:

The thermochromic pigment can withstand a high temperature of 230°C for a short time (about 10 minutes), and can be applied to injection molding and high-temperature curing. However, the thermal stability of the thermochromic pigment in the color-developing state and the color-eliminating state is different, and the stability of the former is higher than that of the latter. In addition, when the temperature is higher than 80°C, the organic substances constituting the color-changing system will also begin to degrade. Therefore, the thermochromic pigment should avoid working at a temperature higher than 75°C for a long time.
