Safety and Precautions for Using Thermochromic Pigments:
All the chromic pigments sold by our company do not contain toxic heavy metals such as mercury, lead, and chromium, and are non-toxic and non-irritating to human skin. However, due to its small particles, when forming dust in the air, it can easily enter the human lungs for deposition or the blood circulation system through the respiratory tract, causing adverse consequences. Therefore, dust masks, rubber gloves and goggles should be worn during operation. If the chromic pigment accidentally enters the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water to prevent it from entering the body.

According to relevant national regulations, chromic pigments are the same as ordinary pigments. The parts of the products containing pigments should avoid direct contact with food and drinking water. If used to produce temperature-variable plastic catering utensils, a double-layer injection molding process can be adopted, and the chromic layer should be located at the part that does not come into contact with food.
Thermochromic pigments are non-flammable and will not self-ignite when heated to 170°C in the air. However, due to its extremely fine particles and large specific surface area, once dust is formed in the air and reaches a certain concentration, exposure to open flames may cause deflagration. Please act with caution.
